untitled
This month saw a return to some truly terrible poker. Raises to 110 times the blind pre-flop, massive raises into tiny pots and so forth. Fortunately, it does mean a lesson was learned. We have been playing with small, slow blind structures and large numbers of chips on the theory people want to play a while but since this only encourages wild play we now know to have a faster blind structure and fewer chips. Also, an excellent suggestion was made; henceforth, if multiple players go out on one hand they are each worth 40 instead of 20 base points. Progress is being made to fine-tune the league to our playing style and to make actions worth while.
